Getting there
Two international airports
Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is Bangkok’s main international gateway, with direct flights from across Asia, the Gulf, Africa and Europe. Don Mueang Airport (DMK) serves many low-cost airlines in the region. The Airport Rail Link runs from Suvarnabhumi to central Bangkok.
Entry to Thailand
Visa and arrival card
Many nationalities can enter Thailand without a visa; others need one. Thailand changed its visa-exemption rules on 15 September 2026 (checked October 2026), so check the current rules for your passport early. All foreign visitors complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before arrival. Once you have registered and paid, download the visa support letter from your account.
